Auston Woods is Awesome!

We are very pleased to announce that Auston Woods was named as Property of the Year for our region at the HHHunt Awards Ceremony on March 11th. Some of our team members received special recognition for their exemplary performances: Julie Robbins was named as Property Manager of the Year, and Marcus Covington won the Team Excellence Award. We are so proud of our team, their hard work, and our wonderful residents who make it such a pleasure to come to work every day!

We are very excited about some changes that will be taking place this month. Our beloved Julie will be leaving us on April 10th, and will be moving to our sister property, Ashton Pointe, in Beaufort, SC. We will miss her dearly, but are very happy that she will stay with the HHHunt family and for the opportunities that the move will allow for her!


Special Office Hours

In observance of the spring holidays, our Welcome Center will have a limited office staff from 10am-1pm on Friday, April 18th, and will be closed on Sunday, April 20th. We will reopen for normal office hours on Monday, April 21st. We hope you have a happy and enjoyable holiday weekend!


Short-Term Furnished Unit

The Short Term Furnished Unit, a fully-furnished 2 bedroom apartment home, is a wonderful option for visitors at only $95/night ($120/night for a special event or holiday). Due to high demand, we will have a temporary second short-term unit available through July. These amenities are in high demand, so contact the Welcome Center for availability.


Maintenance Reminders

Thank you so much to all of you for your patience while we completed the pressure washing/painting in Phase I, and the Preventative Maintenance throughout the community!

  • If you have not yet done so, please check to make sure that your air conditioning is functioning properly. As the weather warms, we do not want anyone to be waiting in the heat.

Help Us Keep
Our Community Clean

We have recently noticed an increase in litter throughout the community. Garbage that has not been disposed of properly poses a big concern, not only because it is unsightly, but also because it may act as an attractant to pests and wildlife. 

Trash items should always be placed inside the trash compactors or appropriate trash receptacles, never left in the breezeways, on patios, by buildings, or along the walls by the trash compactors. Please note that anyone who does not properly dispose of waste materials will be charged $25/waste item.


Upcoming Upgrades

We are proud of our community, and strive to keep the apartments and grounds looking wonderful. Our next upgrade will be to install plantation style blinds in all of the Phase I apartment homes in the coming weeks. We will be sending notifications to the individual buildings once we have the dates scheduled.

Pool Season is Approaching

The pools are now open 12 months a year, but it will soon be warm enough to begin using them on a regular basis. For the safety of all, please review the pool rules outlined below. A complete list of pool regulations may be found at http://austonwoods.com/docs/resident-handbook.pdf.

  • Pool hours are from 10am-10pm.
  • All persons using the pool do so at their own risk.
  • No pets are permitted in the pool area at any time.
  • Glass containers are not permitted on the pool decks. Alcoholic beverages must be either in a cup or a can with a coozie.
  • Proper swimwear must be worn at all times. Proper clothing and shoes must be worn in the clubhouse areas.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Up to 2 guests per leaseholder are allowed at a time, and a leaseholder must accompany guests to the pool.
  • Use of the pool areas is a privilege: any violations of regulations will result in revocation of privileges.

Both of our Fitness Centers are now open 24 hours, so no matter what your schedule is like, our facilities are open for your use!

Did you know that Auston Woods offers personal training? Richard Buford, with Adrenaline Rush Sports & Fitness is available for private sessions with our residents. Fit Club

Looking for a FREE way to meet your neighbors and get in shape? Richard Buford, our personal trainer, will be offering Fit Club starting on April 9th. Fit Club will meet at the Auston Woods Welcome Center on Wednesdays at 7pm from April 9 – June 25th, and will consist of completing a course with light exercise stations throughout the community. Each week that you participate, your name will be added to monthly drawings for a chance to win fitness gear and gift cards. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes early so that we can begin promptly at 7pm. Bring a small bottle of water and wear athletic gear. Hope to see you there!

Pick Up After
Your Pooch

We love our four-legged residents, but have recently noticed several areas where pet waste is not being properly disposed of. Not only is pet waste an eyesore, but it can also cause unpleasant odors and spread disease. For the safety of all residents and pets, we ask that you please be sure to pick up pet waste when walking your dog. Failure to pick up after your pet will result in a $25 fine per occurrence. For your convenience, additional pet waste disposal locations have been added throughout the community.

Should you witness anyone failing to follow proper pet waste disposal procedures, please let us know. If you are able to provide a picture of the offender in the process, and a picture of the waste that had been left, we will give you a $50 gift card.
