The 2015 Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Charlotte Goes Green Festival invites you to participate in the 19th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Charlotte Goes Green Festival on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Over 70,000 spectators watched the Parade last year. The parade will march through the heart of Charlotte to the sound of pipes and the cheers of the spectators lining the streets. The combination of flags, floats, kids, and pipe band music will make everyone smile and Irish for a day.
The parade has grown to be one of Charlotte’s biggest and best. This year’s Parade promises to be another great one! At The Charlotte Goes Green Festival enjoy the beautiful weather and listen to Irish music, watch performances by Irish dancers, play in the Celtic Kids Zone, have lots to eat and check out the great Irish/Celtic vendors that attend the festival from around the U.S.
The 2015 Charlotte Goes Green Festival will be the best yet. There will be something for everyone of all ages to enjoy. It’s the place to be after the parade. The Festival is located on S. Tryon St. between 3rd St. & Stonewall St. The festival hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and features Irish music, Irish dancers, bagpipers, Irish/Celtic and other vendors, a children’s amusement area and plenty of food & beverages. There is no admission fee to attend.
